HandyDaddy SMS Terms
Effective August 22, 2026
HandyDaddy operates transactional SMS programs for its products, including the PlanAhead cleaning-schedule and cleaner-marketplace app at planahead.handydaddy.pro. These programs send only account and operational messages requested by users; they do not send promotional or third-party marketing texts.
How consent is collected
SMS is optional. A user opts in by entering and verifying a mobile number, reviewing the disclosure beside the SMS option, and taking an affirmative action such as selecting SMS verification or turning on the SMS notifications switch in the app's settings. The SMS notifications switch is off by default. Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchasing services, and email verification remains available during account creation.
Messages
Messages may include one-time verification codes and account security alerts. PlanAhead operational messages may include cleaning confirmations, next-day cleaning reminders, check-in and check-out reminders, review alerts, marketplace offers, crew invitations, and alerts that another user sent an in-app message. A new-message alert identifies the sender and may include a secure link to the relevant PlanAhead conversation, but it does not include the private message body. Other HandyDaddy messages may include request, appointment, payment, and support updates. Message frequency varies based on account activity.
Charges, opt-out, and help
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Users can also disable SMS notifications in the applicable HandyDaddy product's settings, including PlanAhead settings, or email support@handydaddy.pro. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Phone numbers and SMS activity are handled as described in the HandyDaddy Privacy Policy. HandyDaddy does not sell SMS consent to third parties.
