Counsel review required: These pre-release terms summarize intended marketplace behavior and known limitations. They are not a substitute for a final agreement prepared by qualified counsel and must not be treated as publication-ready legal terms.

Pre-release status

HandyDaddy is under active development. Public app-store listings and live production payments are not represented as available. Features, records, and availability can change during approved testing.

Marketplace role

HandyDaddy provides tools for customers and independent local service professionals to find, describe, discuss, and manage work. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, HandyDaddy is not the service professional, employer, insurer, guarantor, or party performing the work.

Accounts and security

Users must provide accurate information, protect their credentials, use only accounts they are authorized to control, and promptly report suspected misuse. Profile labels or user-provided license, insurance, bond, background, badge, or credential statements must not be treated as independently verified unless HandyDaddy explicitly identifies the verification source and status.

Requests, offers, and jobs

Customers are responsible for selecting a professional and confirming scope, access, timing, price, materials, permits, credentials, and safety requirements. Professionals are responsible for accurate offers, lawful licensing and insurance where required, safe work, taxes, personnel, and clear communication. Users should preserve any contract or warranty terms they rely on.

Messages, files, and AI assistance

Users must have the right to send uploaded content and must not upload malware, unlawful material, private data they are not authorized to share, or content that infringes another person's rights. AI-assisted drafts, summaries, translations, matching, and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong; users must review them before relying on or sending them.

Transactional messages

Email and in-app communications may be necessary to operate the service. SMS is optional: a user consents only by actively selecting SMS verification or enabling SMS notifications and checking the accompanying SMS consent control. Transactional texts may concern verification codes, account security, requests, offers, appointments, payments, chat, reviews, and support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Payments and offers

Offers may include price, timing, warranty, materials, attachments, and terms. When production payments are explicitly activated, a third-party provider may process checkout, payment methods, receipts, refunds, tips, deposits, donations, or subscriptions. Current release documentation identifies Stripe sandbox/test linkage, not verified live-payment readiness.

Cancellations, refunds, disputes, and recurring billing

Final cancellation, refund, dispute, and recurring-billing rules require business and counsel approval. Provider-backed recurring cancellation is not represented as complete in the current release. Approved testers must contact support for manual confirmation before assuming a recurring item is canceled.

Acceptable use and enforcement

Do not use HandyDaddy for fraud, harassment, discrimination, unsafe or unlawful work, credential misrepresentation, unauthorized surveillance, payment circumvention, spam, scraping, system interference, or access to another user's data. Access may be limited while abuse, security, or legal issues are investigated.

Availability and final legal terms

Pre-release software can be interrupted, changed, or contain defects. Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law, arbitration or court venue, business identity, effective date, and regional consumer terms are intentionally not invented here; qualified counsel must supply and approve them before public launch.
